MindBody Counseling Center was founded by Jessica Witmer, a licensed therapist with a deep respect for how trauma, stress, and life experience live in both the mind and the body. Jessica’s work is grounded, relational, and nervous-system informed — helping people gently untangle old patterns, process what’s been held inside, and move toward real, embodied change.

While the center is intentionally small, the work is not. Jessica brings years of clinical experience, advanced trauma training, and a steady, human presence to each session—creating a space that feels safe, attuned, and deeply personal. Every client who walks through the door is met by the same hands, the same care, and the same commitment to healing that honors the whole person.

Jessica draws from a range of evidence-based, body-centered tools to support deep and lasting change, including EMDR, somatic and nervous-system-informed therapy, parts-based work, and mindfulness-oriented approaches.

Sessions are tailored to the individual, often integrating extended processing time when needed, allowing the work to unfold with depth, continuity, and respect for each person’s pace—less talking about the problem, and more safely moving through it.
